Learn more at About the Job The Field Operator will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting robotic systems in the field. This role bridges engineering, operations, and customer‑facing functions to ensure robots function reliably and meet mission targets. What You'll Get To Do Deploy robotic systems to customers or field sites: unpack, assemble, configure, and launch robots per deployment checklists. Monitor robot performance during operation and intervene when needed. Perform first‑level mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting on‑site. Collect operational data and provide feedback to engineering and remote operations teams. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with customers, remote teams, and internal stakeholders. Work flexible shifts, travel frequently, and adapt to dynamic field environments. What You Have High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or a related field preferred. Ability to work in the field with physical demands such as lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and frequent travel. Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs. Basic electrical and software familiarity; understanding of robotic systems and autonomy. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose issues under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work non‑standard hours. Commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures. The Extras That Set You Apart Experience in field operations involving robotics or automation.
