About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced **Accounting Manager** to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing client relationships, reviewing work prepared by staff, and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance. The right person will be both a trusted advisor to clients and a supportive mentor to our growing team.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily and periodic accounting operations for multiple clients
* Review and finalize financial statements, tax returns, and other client deliverables
* Manage and support a team of accountants, providing guidance, feedback, and training
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a primary point of contact
* Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax laws
* Coordinate and monitor workflow to meet deadlines efficiently
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced client service
* Stay informed on evolving accounting standards, tax regulations, and technology tools
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred)
* 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
* Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, tax, and accounting principles
* Proficiency in QuickBooks and tax/accounting software
* Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
