Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Culver City, California. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in managing accounts payable processes efficiently. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Responsibilities: - Process invoices accurately and ensure proper coding for financial records. - Manage check runs, ensuring payments are made on time and correctly documented. - Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records. - Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and resolve any payment issues promptly. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all invoices are approved and processed efficiently. - Utilize Yardi software for accounts payable tasks, ensuring compliance with company procedures. - Generate reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities as needed. - Support the team in catching up on delayed accounts payable tasks to meet organizational deadlines. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and check runs. - Proficiency in Yardi software and Microsoft Excel. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry. - Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and payment issues. - Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
