We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Airport QSR Manager who is eager to lead and inspire our team.
The General Manager is professional
, organized, and ready to provide great service, with communication, quality and problem resolutions, and is natural in connecting with customers in a fast-paced, high volume environment. The manager is interested not only in self-growth but ready to contribute to the overall culture and business by being a leader, problem solver, self-starter, who is also supportive of their co-workers while managing day-to-day operations. The manager must also understand and have high expectations in food safety, food handling, and preparation.
The Manager must have 2-3 years of experience managing in a fast-paced environment like the Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Daily Operations: Efficiently manage day-to-day operations, including labor and scheduling, to ensure smooth service.
- Inspire Your Team: Provide guidance and leadership to hourly team members, cultivating a positive and supportive work environment.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with the General Manager to create prep lists and assign production duties to meet business demands.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Handle guest and employee challenges with tact, patience, and courtesy, ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Stay Calm Under Pressure: Multitask effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety, ensuring all employees adhere to guidelines.
- Manage Staff: Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervision, and development of hourly employees.
- Monitor Performance: Provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Be Flexible: Work various shifts, including nights and weekends, at multiple sites as needed.
- Maintain Proficiency: Be skilled in all job functions and provide backup support when necessary.
- Uphold Quality Standards: Ensure all food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Accommodate and document customer needs, ensuring clear communication with the staff.
- Manage Inventory: Estimate food and beverage costs, requisition or purchase supplies, and maintain inventory systems.
- Oversee Finances: Review financial transactions, monitor budgets, and ensure efficient operations within budget limitations.
- Handle Cash Management: Control and count all charge and cash purchases at the end of each shift.
- Monitor Portion Control: Oversee portion control standards for food and beverages.
- Take on Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team and business.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 3-5 years of quick-serve (QSR) management experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Toast POS system and Microsoft/Google Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is a plus.
- Culinary Expertise: Culinary and kitchen management skills are a plus.
- Operational Excellence: Strong operational skills in a customer service environment.
- Inventory Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Vendor Negotiation: Experience with vendor negotiations and purchasing.
- Union Experience: Experience working with labor unions is a plus.
- Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
