Description Anesthesiologist Location: Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas CentralCare Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist to provide full-time services at Brooke Army Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a great opportunity for anesthesiologists to support our military and their families as federal civilian contractors.
A Texas medical license is required for this position. If you do not currently hold a Texas license, we are happy to assist with the licensing process.
- Pay: Hourly (Increased in 2025)
- Availability: Full Time preferred | PRN Considered if Local
- Shift: 4X10s (Considered Full Time)
- Call: YES 4p-7a (2-4 shifts a month)
- Contract Length: 1 year Preferred (opportunity to extend)
- Malpractice Insurance: We Cover for Full Time (1mil/3mil occurrence)
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
Anesthesiologist Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to develop and implement anesthetic plans.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards.
Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Anesthesiologist Qualifications: - Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology.
- Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
- Active DEA
- Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS

Position Requirements Degree/Education : Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologist or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
Experience: Have a minimum one year of medical assistant experience after graduation
Certifications: Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or current registration by the American Medical Technologist or other formal program as specified in the TO
