Job Description

Assistant Project Manager (Construction – Electrical)

📍 San Francisco, CA | Onsite | Full-time Contract (Potential to Extend/Convert)

🕒 Hours: 7:00/7:30am – 3:30/4:00pm | Start: ASAP

A well-established full-service electrical contractor in San Francisco is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support ongoing electrical construction projects. This is a 3-month contract position to start, with the potential for extension or conversion depending on business needs.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sr. Project Manager in managing small to mid-sized projects
  • Conduct job walks and assist with scope development
  • Prepare estimates and pricing for bids
  • Handle submittals, RFIs, RFQs, and change orders
  • Source materials and maintain procurement logs
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination and onboarding
  • Attend site meetings and design-build client sessions as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Background in construction (electrical highly preferred)
  • Experience with estimating, bidding, and pricing
  • Familiarity with change orders , submittals , and job walks
  • Flexible and adaptable on job sites
  • Clean driving record – must be comfortable driving a company vehicle to project sites

🌟 Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in tools such as Windows , Autodesk , Sage , and Bluebeam

📅 Timeline & Process:

  • Interviews ideally scheduled before May 23
  • 1-round interview with leadership (Owner and/or Sr. PM)
  • Background check and driving record required

🚗 Work Environment:

  • Fully onsite in San Francisco (5 days/week)
  • Job site visits required using company vehicle

This position is paying $35-45/hr.
