The Home Energy Solutions Specialist is responsible for analyzing consumer needs, negotiating and closing deals, meeting sales targets, gathering feedback, educating customers, answering detailed questions about Generac products, and maintaining department expectations. The primary goal of this role is to drive sales of energy solutions and provide excellent customer service to both potential and current customers. Essential Duties include analyzing consumer needs, negotiating and closing deals, meeting sales targets, gathering and analyzing consumer feedback, conducting daily outbound calls, educating customers on the home energy industry, maintaining departmental standards, answering detailed product questions, responding to inbound pre-sale questions, and other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements include an Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and 1 year related experience within Sales, Retail, or Marketing. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, ability to interpret data and make recommendations, ability to work with various stakeholders, meet sales targets, strong organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Physical demands include regular talking, hearing, use of hands, standing, walking, occasional stooping, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25-50 pounds, and frequent computer-based work requiring close vision and focus adjustment. Occasional travel is required.
