If you are hired, you will be...

• Creating an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
• Welcoming and greeting customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Listening to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need.
• Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli items.
• Preparing special orders, take-out items, and party trays.
• Updating displays, cases and other customer-facing areas.
• Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensuring work areas are clean and ready to service customers.
• Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Help lead and motivate the deli department team.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Passion for food and our local community.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

A few things you’ll need…

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
• Food Worker Card

These qualifications will help you stand out

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills
• 3 years previous deli counter or food preparation experience (preferred)
