SUMMARY:
We are looking for individuals with a background in Residential Construction / Remodeling, or Residential Design, to fill Entry Level Designer positions in our Jacksonville, Florida office. Apex Technology is a growing Architectural & Engineering (A/E) firm in the light commercial, multi-family, and residential structures arena. Applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, excellent organizational skills, a high attention to detail, and the aptitude to work self-sufficiently in a fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Create architectural construction drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT
- Assimilate documents for permitting and construction
- Manage workload and flow of jobs
- Communicate effectively with direct supervisor
- Other tools include Deltek, Paychex and Microsoft Office Suite
KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Residential Construction and/or Remodeling experience (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 products, with an emphasis on Excel
- Architectural or Structural Design a plus
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Deltek Vision and Paychex a plus

- Detail oriented
- Strong Organizational skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
- Experience in fast paced work environment
- Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and public
- Proficiency in English Language, reading, spoken, and written
