Job Type: Part-time (Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM)
Job Summary:
Grand Villa of Clearwater is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team at our assisted living facility.
This position allows you to interact with residents, many time on a one-to-one basis. It is an ideal position for a retired or semi retired person who enjoys working with seniors. Come join this amazing team of caring professionals at Grand Villa of Clearwater. This position is currently part-time but potentially could become a full-time position.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being during travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and outings.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and family members.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a driving or transportation role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
