As an Event Designer & Coordinator, you will be responsible for crafting unforgettable destination weddings and events that reflect the couple’s unique vision. You will work closely with clients to design, plan, and execute every aspect of their special day, ensuring a seamless and extraordinary experience from start to finish. Your role will involve liaising with vendors, managing logistics, coordinating schedules, and handling the details to ensure that the event exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their wedding or event vision and create a personalized design. Manage the planning and execution of the event, ensuring all elements (venue, decor, timeline, etc.) are in place and run smoothly. Coordinate with local vendors and suppliers, such as florists, caterers, and photographers, to secure the best options and negotiate contracts. Ensure the event timeline is followed and all logistics, from transportation to accommodation, are organized and executed flawlessly. Provide on-site event coordination to oversee setup, manage the flow of events, and address any issues that arise. Offer creative solutions and suggestions to enhance the client’s event experience, from unique decor ideas to themed touches. Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and venue staff throughout the planning process and on the event day. Stay within the client's budget while delivering a high-quality, memorable experience. Manage the booking and coordination of group activities or excursions for guests, enhancing the overall experience. Qualifications: Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or design, preferably in the wedding or hospitality industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and staff. A keen eye for detail and an ability to creatively design and execute event concepts. Flexibility and problem-solving skills to manage unforeseen challenges that may arise. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, customer-focused attitude. Preferred Skills: Experience planning events at international or remote destinations. Knowledge of event-related legal requirements and permits in various locations. A background in hospitality, design, or project management is a plus.
