Executive Assistant - Nonprofit Industry

Location: North Minneapolis
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? Join a growing nonprofit organization during an exciting phase of strategic growth. In this role, you'll be the right hand to the Executive Director-helping streamline operations, manage priorities, and support initiatives that drive real change in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbox and prioritize urgent communications.
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management.
  • Book travel and accommodations.
  • Take meeting minutes and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain document retention systems and inventory trackers.
  • Support payroll processing and compliance tasks.
  • Navigate Monday.com for project management and DonorView for CRM activities.
  • Jump into ad hoc projects and assist across departments.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or C-level executives.
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus (especially compliance or grant-related work).
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems.
  • Professional communication skills and polished demeanor.
