About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Partner Outsourcing. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that all outsourced clinical study contracts are negotiated and executed in accordance with best practices, with a strong focus on cost optimization and supplier performance across various therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team, implementing short- and long-term strategies for clinical partner outsourcing, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including procurement, is essential to meet business requirements and adhere to governance frameworks. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a BS/BA, with an advanced technical degree preferred, and at least 15 years of clinical outsourcing experience, including a minimum of 6 years in a line management position. The role requires a proven track record in financial and commercial management, as well as advanced skills in supplier relationship and contract management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical development operations, regulatory requirements, and sourcing strategies, and will be adept at leading complex, global projects. Transformational leadership capabilities, a forward-thinking approach, and a deep understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical trial regulations are also essential. The Executive Director will be expected to engage with senior leaders and external partners, and to drive cultural change by promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
