Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Family Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, from ages 6+. This role involves a broad range of tasks, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting routine check-ups, promoting patient health and wellbeing, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. This is a permanent position, only requiring 28 hours of work a week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive and continuous care to patients by conducting thorough physical exams, interpreting medical histories, diagnosing illnesses, and formulating treatment plans.
2. Promote preventive care and health education to patients and their families.
3. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals such as specialists, nurses, and therapists to ensure patients receive appropriate care.
4. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary.
5. Keep up-to-date with advancements in medical technology and research to provide the best possible care to patients.
6. Maintain complete and accurate patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant medical information.
7. Adhere to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and standards to ensure ethical and professional practice.

Qualifications:

1. Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board Certified in Family Medicine.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Physician.
4. Valid license to practice medicine in the state of Indiana.
5. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
7. Ability to handle a high level of stress and make critical decisions under pressure.
8. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
9. Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
10. Proficient in using medical software and equipment.
