Position Overview: BLN24 is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our delivery team supporting NOAA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, refactoring, and optimizing applications for AWS cloud deployment. The Developer plays a critical role in ensuring migrated applications are performant, secure, and interoperable within the NOAA cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities: - Refactor applications for AWS cloud environments
- Build secure, efficient, scalable back-end and front-end solutions
- Integrate with NOAA enterprise systems (data lakes, APIs, cloud-native services)
- Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with analysts and QA to deliver mission-ready software
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years full stack development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, React, or comparable stacks
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
Preferred Qualifications - AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect
- Experience in federal IT systems integration
- CI/CD pipeline and DevSecOps experience
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
