Job Title: Duct Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician with expertise in sheet metal fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide their work.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal by cutting, bending, and shaping using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Securely install sheet metal products such as HVAC ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, furnace casings, and metal roofing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide fabrication and installation.
• Use welding equipment, rivets, bolts, and other fastening methods to join metal components.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and structural soundness, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including HVAC technicians, roofers, and engineers.
• Diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning sheet metal systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating metal fabrication machines and welding tools.
• Capability of lifting heavy materials and performing precise manual tasks.
• High level of accuracy in measurements and installations.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
