Revive Property Management is looking to bring on an experienced HVAC technician to our team. HVAC certification is required. We are looking for a full time hourly technician who can diagnose, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on all systems throughout the property. We are an apartment complex so you will be working with typical residential all electric systems. Experience/work in fields unrelated to HVAC such as light plumbing, electrical, general maintenance may be asked of you if there are no HVAC calls, which can happen. We also offer a generous discount if you would like an apartment on-site.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspects buildings and equipment to ensure the apartments and its systems are functional systems. Prepares recommendations for needed repairs and schedules repairs as necessary.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and service requests.
• Orders parts and maintains required documents.
• Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently..
• Keeps logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• ON-Call. All maintenance employees are on call for 1 week at a time every 6-7 weeks.

Qualifications and Skills

• HVAC Certification required.
• Working experience in HVAC field preferred.
• Understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given and work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• General maintenance skills. (light plumbing, light electrical, general repair)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours per day
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder, kneel, stoop, and bend at the waist regularly
• Manual dexterity needed for completing equipment installations and maintenance

Workplace Environment

• Building maintenance environment, apartment complex, indoor/outdoor, consisting of exposure to moving mechanical parts and seasonal temperature changes ranging from freezing to high heat
