We are looking for an experienced and Licensed Electrician to undertake installing, repairing, and maintaining road-side electronic equipment including but not limited to, signal systems, traffic monitoring devices, sensors, communications / networking equipment, CCTV, Dynamic Message Signs, ruggedized computers, fiber-optic components, industrial controls, audio and video systems, radio transmitters / receivers, and antennas. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. Day and night and on call work is required, including overtime hours.
*Requirements:*
* Master Electrician State license, plus Min. 2 years exp. in transportation related electrical
* Must possess all qualifications/certifications of Electrician I
* NFPA 70 E
* OSHA 30
* Overhead and underground utility recognition
* Maintain license/continuing education
* Be able to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as electrical panels, CT cabinets and power supplies.
* Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
* Computer Skills (MS Office Suite, Windows Operating Systems and Commercial off the shelf programs).
* Must have and maintain a current valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus) and good driving record.
* Experience working with Intelligent Transportation Systems and IMSA Signal Technician training a plus.
