Summary

We’re looking for a front-facing, hands-on leader who takes pride in precision, presentation, and professionalism. As RealClean Bozeman’s Lead Aircraft Detailing Technician , you’ll be the point person representing our brand with clients, FBO owners, and aircraft operators. You’ll lead by example, deliver top-tier detailing work, and ensure every aircraft leaves our facility spotless, protected, and ready to impress.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform detailing operations for aircraft interiors and exteriors with expert craftsmanship and attention to aviation standards.

• Represent RealClean Bozeman professionally when interacting with clients, FBO managers, and partners — you’re the face of the operation on-site.

• Inspect and prepare aircraft surfaces before cleaning, identifying defects, wear, or maintenance issues.

• Perform deep cleaning, polishing, and protective applications on exteriors, brightwork, landing gear, and interior surfaces using approved aviation products.

• Train, coach, and oversee detailing crew members , maintaining consistent quality and workflow efficiency.

• Monitor inventory and maintenance of tools, chemicals, and supplies.

• Enforce safety standards and ensure all cleaning procedures meet FAA and FBO safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with management and clients about job progress and quality results.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (aviation or detailing certifications preferred).

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of professional detailing experience (aircraft, automotive, or marine).

  • Demonstrated team leadership or crew supervision experience .

  • Prior experience working around aircraft or high-value assets preferred.

• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain airport/FBO security clearance.
