Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a heavy industrial setting where you will work with older manufacturing machines and industrial metal wires. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing some welding tasks. This role requires hands-on experience with preventative maintenance, repair, replacement, and troubleshooting of mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain older industrial machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Perform welding tasks as required.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with a large maintenance team to ensure equipment functionality.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with welding and using hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a mechanical setting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Union benefits
$750 bonus the first 3 months and $750 after 6 months worked

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Irwindale,CA.
