Medical Assistant Supervisor

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant Supervisor will report to the Clinical Manager. They must be able to take directions well and have excellent communication skills to be successful in this position. They will be responsible for all of the following :

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the medical assistant staff
• Managing new hire training, staff attendance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary meetings
• Remaining knowledgeable about the clinic protocols and procedures as written in the company handbook/training manual, and enforcing those protocols and policies for all staff
• Identifying and resolving patient or staff issues following the correct protocol
• Managing clinic supplies, equipment, medications, and vaccines
• Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with both staff and patients at all times as a leader within the clinic
• Taking on additional tasks/projects as assigned by the Clinic Manager

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certifications

• CCMA Certification Required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

• Experience in medical assistant tasking in a primary care practice
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction
• Experience with EHR
