What You'll Do
Design Excellence: Create detailed 2D cross-sections, 3D models, and Model-Based Definitions (MBD) within Siemens NX and Teamcenter environments.
Innovative Development: Conceptualize and design gas turbine components, pushing the boundaries of engineering.
Collaborative Engineering: Work with cross-functional teams to define dimensional constraints and geometric tolerances, ensuring optimal manufacturing processes.
Quality Assurance: Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to drive improvements in quality, speed, and precision.
Project Management: Navigate CAD and CAM environments, managing projects within budget and schedule, delivering uncompromising quality.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in 3D modeling of aero-engines and gas turbine components; proficiency in Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing; ability to interpret technical drawings.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with team members at all levels.
Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree: Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 1-3 years of product definition experience.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Siemens NX CAD Drafting and MBD, and Teamcenter PLM in designing mechanical engine components.
