Together we continue to grow as the world's leading energy company! **Job Description Summary** **Location:** Houston, TX | **Hybrid Schedule:** Remote Monday & Friday, In-office Tuesday-Thursday At **bp** , Natural Gas Schedulers are essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of energy across our network. This role is part of the **West Gas Operations Team** within **Trading & Shipping (T&S) Gas and Power Trading Americas (GPTA)** . We're looking for someone who thrives in a **fast-paced, collaborative environment** and embraces our **"One Team" culture** -where trust, feedback, and continuous improvement drive high performance. **What You'll Do** + Submit daily and intraday natural gas nominations to natural gas pipelines, LDC's and storage facilities using appropriate systems + Ensure accurate flow of equity and third-party production + Monitor and manage pipeline imbalances, storage balances, and customer balances in line with contractual terms + Communicate market intelligence to trading and marketing teams + Capture nominations and actualized data in ETRM **(Endur)** + Maintain tariff rate charges and reconcile pipeline invoices + Build strong relationships with pipelines, customers, and internal teams + Partner with finance, risk, and accounting for timely and accurate reporting + Participate in rotational weekend and holiday coverage + Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across scheduling teams **What You Bring** **Education:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred **Experience & Skills:** + Knowledge of natural gas scheduling or similar commodity operations + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred) + Quick learner with strong attention to detail and commercial focus + Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams **Nice to Have:** + Familiarity with EBBs and ETRM systems (Endur experience a plus) + 3+ years in oil and gas industry; 1+ year in natural gas scheduling **Why join bp** At bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and challenging environment.
