Corewell Health South is seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our Hospitalist Team. Desire individuals who are patient-centered and team-oriented. The Hospitalist Team provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital and Corewell Health Hospital, Niles. Block-style schedule with providers rotating seven (7) consecutive days on followed by seven (7) days off. Shifts include day shift (8a-8p) in Saint Joseph and (noon-midnight) in Niles. Epic electronic health record is used for documentation. Team includes adult medicine physicians and advanced practitioners, including dedicated nocturnists. Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital has a closed, 18-bed ICU and 12-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage. A variety of sub-specialists available for referrals and collaboration opportunities on patient care.
