Part-Time Summer Nanny Needed in Salem, MA
$25+/hour | Live-Out | Start ASAP
A warm and flexible family in Salem, MA is seeking a part-time summer nanny for their two young children (ages 4 and almost 2). This is a live-out position with guaranteed 9–15 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through September.
Schedule Options (Guaranteed Weekly Hours):
- Option 1: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (15 guaranteed hours/week)
Option 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM (18 guaranteed hours/week)
Family is open to discussing a schedule that works best for the right candidate.
Compensation:
Job Responsibilities:
- Care for two children (ages 4 and almost 2) in a safe, nurturing, and engaging manner
- Plan and participate in indoor and outdoor play
- Serve simple meals and snacks (mostly pre-prepared by the parent)
- Light tidying related to the children’s activities
Requirements:
- Prior experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Energetic, proactive, and flexible personality
- Open to working with a hands-on parent who works from home
- Must be reliable, communicative, and comfortable with limited structure
- Provide 3-5 professional references
- Must have U.S. work authorization
