Job Description
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process employee payroll accurately and on time on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis
- Maintain and update employee payroll records
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and labor laws
- Handle wage garnishments, deductions, and benefits administration
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation
Qualifications
- 1+ years of payroll processing experience preferred
- Proficient in payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or Gusto
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and compliance standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
