Job Requirements:
- Candidate MUST live in the United States, preferably based in New York.
- CLSA Certification
- Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to, WebSphere or WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL. With specific expertise in some of the above (recommended, not essential)
- Strong team player with good communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in shaping requirements to out of the box features, and with reusable assets in mind
- Experienced estimating effort at component and story level with appropriate RAID
Key responsibilities:
- Lead teams of 4 or more professionals in the design and delivery of rubust components, leveraging 5+ years of hands-on Pega experience to drive project success.
- Take ownership of component design and delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilize Pega performance tools to optimize system performance and scalability, maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of Pega applications.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of enterprise architecture concepts to guide project direction effectively, aligning technical solutions with business objectives and long-term architecture vision.
- Act as a mentor to senior and junior team members, sharing best practices, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
