• Plan sourcing strategies for materials and services across regions and globally.

• Track market trends to predict price changes and supply issues.

• Build strong supplier relationships to meet goals like cost, quality, and delivery.

• Negotiate contracts to get better prices and ensure reliable supply.

• Find new suppliers and technologies to stay competitive.

• Create forecasts for pricing and demand to help with planning.

• Improve procurement processes using best practices and tools.

• Ensure product quality and solve supplier-related issues.

• Work with other departments to share market insights and solve supply chain challenges.

• May manage a team, including training and performance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

Chemistry or chemical engineering degree

10+ years of procurement experience

Supervisory experience

SAP experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

MBA

CIPS certification

Lean Six Sigma certification
