This role is part of Cargill's protein and salt business, where we supply wholesome and high-quality food products to an assortment of clients, including foodservice providers and grocery retailers. Operating salt conveying equipment and other packaging machinery, including forklift operations. Conducting product quality testing and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. Consistently following all safety regulations and protocols. Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment. Performing additional tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications: Must have the right to work in the U.S. (not based on a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third party) All employees must be at least 18 years old to work in a production facility. Able to perform physical duties such as bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must possess the ability to operate machinery. Proficient in understanding and communicating in English (both verbal and written). Basic computer skills required. Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with prior notice. Capable of working at elevated heights (4 feet and above). Preferred Qualifications: Forklift certification preferred.
