Recruitment Specialist

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join our team and participate in our hiring process from beginning to end. The ideal applicant will work autonomously and efficiently providing administrative support for a team of recruiters and onboarding specialists, all while managing the end to end paperwork processes all while providing best-in-class delivery and supporting all operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate, manage, and monitor the status of reference checks, background checks, and facilitate all required pre-employment screening
  • Assist with the end-to-end team member onboarding process, including verification of documentation for security clearances, ensuring pre-employment requirements are met
  • Enter data into various Human Resources systems, worksheets and databases, maintain records and compile reports from systems as needed
  • Assist in supporting applicant hiring experience by providing timely applicant updates through various communication sources, keeping the necessary teams updates on progress in real time
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and notes in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other vital systems used in the recruitment process
  • Provide assistance with resume review, phone screening and interviewing candidates on an as needed basis
  • Proactively research, organize, and attend local job fairs
  • Promote the company’s employer brand through consistent and engaging candidate communications
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of applicant and team member information as well as company data
  • Demonstrate and maintain open and honest communication, creating an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture that reflects the values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride
  • Other duties and projects as requested

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • One year of Human Resources experience with focus on Recruitment required
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality under all circumstances, consistently maintains confidentiality while applying discretion and professionalism, always
  • Previous experience with Human Resources Information System or Applicant Tracking System required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish positive, professional rapport with applicants required
  • Hands on experience with conducting phone screenings, interviews and onboarding required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and online research tools required
  • Ability to quickly learn different systems to enter and validate data
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment
  • Team-oriented and flexible in approach to change and type of work assigned
  • Passion for customer service and high expectations for quality and accuracy
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds required
  • Occasional travel in support of hiring events
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
