Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Review employee physical injury occurrences, blood/bodily fluid exposure incidents and maintains complete records
• Coordinates Workers' Compensation, Risk Management and Case Management of injured employees
• Responsible for employee education on rules and regulations regarding employee health, infection control and safety issues
• Manages Worker's Compensation and Employee Health programs in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies
• Coordinates the employee immunization programs
• Medical Screenings for all new hires. Initiates and maintains health records. Ensures titers & other labs are performed per policy.

What you will need in this role:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school 
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or
• Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida Sate Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Previous Employee Health, Occupational Health, and Workers Compensation Experience 
• Fingerprinting required
