Retail Mobile Patrol Security Officer – Full Time – Colorado Springs, CO Retail Mobile Patrol Security Officer role at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Wage $18.62/hr Available Shift Sun - Tues: 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM Wed - Fri: 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM Sat: 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM Position Overview Mobile Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises and patrolling by vehicle. They enforce regulations and directives, ensuring personnel, visitors, and area security. Responsibilities Greet vendors, customers, client employees and assist as needed. Conduct external mobile patrols, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress/egress, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons; inspect grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to customers, public, and vendors. Complete daily activity reports (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems. Create an environment where customers, client employees, and management feel their needs are met. Present a professional image to client, public, and management. Manage disruptions calmly and direct disruptive persons to leave property. Protect evidence or scene of incident; set up barriers and signage; provide direction or information to others. Report incidents or suspicious activity to client, company management or public safety authorities. Ensure property removal follows policy and client standards. High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months. Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus. Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals. Excellent attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift. Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation. Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening: drug test and background check. Understanding of customer service and public interactions. Day/swing shift availability. Reliable, accountable, punctual, with strong work ethic. Strong customer service, interpersonal communication skills. Open to communication and feedback from client, site management, office management. Adherence to 15‑minute break and lunch breaks. Team‑oriented working style. Professional organization and presentation. Knowledge of security operations. High‑quality customer service in person, via radio, and over the phone. Personal vehicle, Colorado driver’s license, clean driving record. Obtain and maintain Colorado Springs Guard Card license annually.
