Salesforce Developer 6-Month Contract | Onsite in Houston, TX

Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Engagement: W2 preferred

Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their onsite team in Houston for a 6-month contract supporting key Marketing & Sales (M&S) applications. This role is part of a broader AMS (Application Management Services) environment, working closely with internal teams and offshore L2/L3 support resources.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Salesforce solutions that enhance business operations and ensure reliable system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development

• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external platforms to ensure smooth and accurate data flow
• Maintain technical documentation including design specifications, code comments, and integration details
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations

AMS Functional Support (Salesforce / .NET)

• Provide onsite AMS support for Marketing & Sales applications
• Support application functionality, business processes, incident resolution, and problem management
• Partner with offshore L2/L3 teams to resolve technical and functional issues
• Engage with end users to understand needs, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure system stability
• Participate in cross-team collaboration to improve processes and service delivery

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning)
• Experience supporting Salesforce integrations and data flows
• Familiarity with M&S applications or .NET environments is a plus
• Prior experience in an AMS support environment is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX for the full duration of the contract
