As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage manufacturing location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring alarm panels, coordinating communication between teams, and responding promptly to incidents or requests for assistance. You will conduct routine patrols of the premises, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Main Responsibilities:

Knowledge of/Experience using security camera systems [Salient and Ubiquity preferred].

Knowledge of/Experience using access control systems [Pro-Watch preferred].

Knowledge of emergency procedures (Incident Command System - ICS)

Ability to monitor and respond to radio traffic, phone calls or calls for assistance

Ability to manage multiple systems (e-mail, monitoring/recording video cameras, access control systems)

Standard duties of unarmed licensed security officer, including physically responding to emergencies if needed, report writing/documentation, etc.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing vehicle and personnel traffic at the location to help maintain order and security-related protocols.
• Operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and relay information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities and incidents for reporting purposes.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and access procedures.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required during emergencies or unusual situations.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
