As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all occupants. In this armed role, you will remain visible throughout your patrols, respond promptly to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious or unauthorized individuals, vehicles, or activities within the assigned area.
• Maintain a visible presence while on post to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to individuals as needed.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required for security-related matters.
• Prepare and submit accurate written reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policy and state regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
