An established, veteran-owned technology company based in Willowbrook, IL is looking to bring on a Senior Java Engineer to support the growth of its mission-critical security solutions. This team builds real-time applications used in high-security industries such as defense, nuclear security, and critical infrastructure, with a focus on modernization and high performance.

\nThis is a 5-days onsite role where you’ll collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team. If you have strong expertise in Java, multithreading, and streaming, and want to apply your skills to systems with real-world impact across telecom and fintech-style environments, this could be the right fit.\nRequired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional Java development
• Strong knowledge of multithreading and streaming
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field\n

• Background in real-time, telecom, or fintech systems
• Security industry experience
• Exposure to Svelte\n

• Tech Breakdown: 100% Java on the backend / Svelte on the frontend
• Daily Responsibilities: 80% hands-on coding and system design / 20% light leadership/mentorship responsibilities
• Building and enhancing real-time applications with a focus on modernization
• Collaborating daily with a small, tight-knit team\n
