Job Description

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

• Conduct security risk assessments for the organization (AFA, AFIBL, AFGSL, FFG, APL, Family or as requested) and implement improvements in conjunction with CSO. This will include physical access and controls, use of technical security support including card or key access, use or need for camera coverage/monitoring, need and use of alarms and monitoring for any alarms, as well as other considerations for level of security expected or desired.
• Coordinate with all levels of the organization (AFA, Family, AFIBL, AFGSL, FFG, APL or as requested) on physical and technical security related needs, initiatives, and projects. Manage security incidents and make recommendations to CSO for enhancements to or expansion of the security program for the organization, including business facilities, event locations and personal residences as directed.
• Identify potential security risks/concerns and develop training to ensure Colleague safety, with the Business Continuity and Corporate Learning teams.
• Collaborate with the AF Property Company and security contractors for continuous security process improvement. Coordinates and provides guidance and support to select individuals and groups within both the Cameron Family and Executive Leadership regarding security posture, practices and decision making. Coordinate with AFPC regarding guard staff and technical security coverage for AF facilities.
• Travel to event locations in advance of scheduled AFA/Cameron events to evaluate and coordinate onsite security considerations for noted events. Provide evaluation and security recommendations for various residences of Family or Executives as requested.

Skills of the ideal candidate: Advanced knowledge of physical security (including both physical and technical resources) for a building and what is needed to adequately secure a facility as well as access control systems, surveillance solutions, and emergency response protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with card access and camera systems Previous experience in law enforcement, private security, or similar Strong oral and written communication skills Strong analysis and interpretation skills Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, particularly with Family and Executive-level positions. Previous experience in crisis management and/or business continuity Leadership skills in implementing and maintaining a security program Extensive understanding of security threats, risk assessments, forensics investigations, and effective security awareness and education programs #LI-SL1 American Fidelity
