Job Summary

This position requires a DoD Secret Clearance.

Skills / Experience Required

The Systems Administrator delivers Tier II IT support to users within PEO Missiles & Space's classified environments, supporting Applications, account maintenance, account token creation and issue, as well as support of physical and virtual machines.
Responds promptly to user requests via phone and desktop support.
Administer and optimize Omnissa Horizon virtual desktop pools, instant clones, and application delivery to ensure a secure and reliable user experience.
Assists in resolving more complex IT and application problems.
Installs, configures, and manages Windows 11 applications, as well as COTS tools on physical machines and virtual machines in the classified environment.
Offers support, manages licenses, requests and configures access tokens, creates and manages user accounts, and coordinates with vendors for multiple COTS applications such as DOORS and MagicDraw.
Utilizes enterprise tools such as Active Directory and various Microsoft Server tools.
Ensures that system security is in compliance with RMF standards and policies through the use of Group Policies and STIGs.
Demonstrate the ability to work well with a minimal amount of supervision.
Must be able to collaborate effectively with other team members and other teams
Position is 100% ONSITE; no remote work options. Situational telework may be available
The candidate must have 2+ years of relevant experience.
Education and Certifications:

IAT II (Security+) within 6 months
Background Needed and Years of Experience:

2+ years of experience required
Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and may include lifting thirty pounds, as necessary.

Security Clearance:

Position requires an active DoD Secret clearance
