At Springwoods Behavioral Health, our mission is simple but profound: to provide compassionate, comprehensive and effective care to individuals facing mental health crises. We provide a full continuum of mental health care, both inpatient and outpatient, for those dealing with psychiatric emergencies ages eight and up. Set within a structured environment, Springwoods Behavioral Health offers acute and subacute inpatient behavioral health services to adolescents.
As a Teacher you will provide direct instruction and other educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents. Your guidance and teaching will assist them in maintaining or improving their academic performance levels or standing and help them to make a smooth post-discharge transition into their home school setting or appropriate educational setting.

QualificationsLicenses or Certifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field. Current Arkansas Special Education Teaching Certificate or obtain the certification within 3 years.
Experience: One to three years experience preferred. Experience in special education or behavioral health a plus.
