Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• No on-call responsibilities required
\n• Perform technical procedures and assist in clinical evaluation and patient care in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
\n• Create diagnostic images using CT scan technology and provide patients with safe and positive experiences
\n• Support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves
\n• Perform CT exams on various patient populations including trauma, emergency room, outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
\n• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
\n• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
\n• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York required
\n• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
\n• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
\n• Entry level position with MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience
