Job Details

• Registered Nurse responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Must have Arizona state nursing license.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Must have ACLS certification.
• Must have PALS certification.
• Preferred certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIH (likely NIH Stroke Scale).
• Must have Cerner electronic medical record experience.

Schedule Information

• Night Shift: 1900 - 0730.
• 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Rotating weekends.
• Required to float to Marana ED located at 6350 Marana Center Blvd.

Unit Specific Information

• Emergency Department unit.
• Required to float between departments and sister facilities.
