We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Salmon, ID. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, providing high-quality care, and making a positive impact on their lives.

Overview

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our rehabilitation department, you will work closely with our team of physical therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and implementing exercises and modalities to promote healing and rehabilitation\n\t
  • Collaborating with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care\n\t
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records\n\t
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families\n

Required Skills

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field\n\t
  • Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Idaho\n\t
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n\t
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\n\t
  • Basic life support certification (BLS) and CPR certification\n
\n\n

Nice to Have Skills

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting\n\t
  • Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, or cardiovascular rehabilitation\n\t
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software\n
\n\n

Preferred Education and Experience

    \n\t
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field\n\t
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting\n
\n\n

Other Requirements

    \n\t
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods\n\t
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends\n\t
  • Must be able to travel to other locations as needed\n
\n\n
