Millville Veterinary Clinic is a family-friendly, general private practice located in Northern California (10 miles east of Redding, in rural Shasta County). *We offer a flexible 3 or 4-day work week, no night on-call or after-hour emergencies, competitive compensation plus generous benefits, including a 10K BONUS with a FT contract.*
We are seeking a California-licensed veterinarian to join our team of SIX experienced doctors. We treat 97% Canine & Feline; 3% other species. We prefer a candidate with 2+ years of experience, however, _new graduates are encouraged to apply_. We offer mentoring! Strong interests in Surgery, Traditional and/or Alternative Medicine (including Acupuncture) are a plus.

Applicants must hold a current license granted by the California Veterinary Medical Board ( to practice veterinary medicine in the State of California. Prefer 1 or more years of experience with Companion animals, but _will consider a motivated new graduate._

Millville Veterinary Clinic is a privately-owned general practice, established in 1981. We have a modern and well-equipped 4100+ sq. ft. hospital on five acres, located in a beautiful rural area just 10 miles east of Redding, CA (Shasta County). Our staff includes 6 experienced and progressive veterinarians (graduates of UCD, LSU, CSU, and OSU) plus a talented and experienced support staff. We treat 97% dogs and cats; the balance being small ruminants, farm animals and exotics. Clinic equipment includes an endoscope, new ultrasound, two digital radiology machines, Idexx In-House VetLab Station, ultrasonic dental scalers, Laser, Cornerstone computer system, and much more. We practice high-quality medicine and offer general surgical services, including some orthopedics. Our dog kennels have radiant-heat floors and cats have condos with a view of Mount Shasta! This area of Northern California ( offers affordable real estate, 300+ days of sunshine, fresh air and space for raising a family and enjoying the outdoors, as well as a variety of mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and trails where you can enjoy activities like hiking, mountain & road biking ( boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, horseback riding, skiing and snowboarding.
