Job Description
We are looking for a Web Developer with strong expertise in Java, Angular, and SQL to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications that are scalable, secure, and performant. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions. This role requires candidates to be based in the Greater Philadelphia Area and to be onsite 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, and SQL.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
- Work with SQL Server to design and optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
- Implement performance, scalability, security, and testing best practices in development.
- Apply design and architectural patterns to create efficient and maintainable solutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, optimizing performance and usability.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Contribute to building and maintaining technical project schedules and timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong development experience with Java, Angular, and SQL.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React/React Native, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance optimization, scalability, security, and application testing.
- Solid understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-starter attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive solutions to completion and contribute to technical project schedules.
