Pharmacist - Coverage Review Specialist (Remote) Location: Must reside within 2 hours of Chattanooga, TN Work Environment: 100% Remote - Work From Home Employer: Leading Insurance Provider in Tennessee Top Skills & Qualifications + Licensure: Licensed to practice Pharmacy in Tennessee + Expertise: Experience with Medicare coverage and/or prior authorization processes Job Responsibilities + Review and process medication-related prior authorizations, pharmacy appeals, and member grievances + Conduct prospective and retrospective coverage reviews in compliance with State and Federal regulations + Respond to prescriber, pharmacy provider, and member inquiries within established timelines + Build and maintain decision trees in the prior authorization system + Ensure denial rationales and decision letters meet regulatory standards Additional Skills & Certifications + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Strong collaboration skills in a team environment with shared responsibilities Schedule: + Monday-Friday / 1st shift Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chattanooga, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $67.48 - $67.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
