Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Medical District UIC is a newly established hotel strategically located in the heart of the bustling Medical District. Our hotel is committed to providing exceptional hospitality services tailored to meet the unique needs of medical professionals, patients, and their families. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Housekeeper to join our team. The Executive Housekeeper will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained. The ideal candidate will have prior pre-opening experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in managing housekeeping teams and implementing best practices.

What You'll Do:
Develop and implement comprehensive housekeeping procedures, policies, and standards to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and oversee procurement as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Monitor and manage departmental budget, including labor and supplies expenses.
Implement eco-friendly practices and initiatives to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in housekeeping management.
Assist with pre-opening activities, including hiring and training of housekeeping staff, and setting up housekeeping systems and procedures.

Who You Are:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a housekeeping leadership role within the hospitality industry, with pre-opening experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Certification in housekeeping management or related field is a plus.
