Job Summary The Training Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering training to all hourly and salaried associates in the Environmental Services department of a local hospital. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and deliver all new-hire training and education of existing staff members in both one-on-one and small group settings Customize training documentation forms as required Prepare a detailed outline of account-specific training programs for the Environmental Services department Prepare monthly reports of training activity and statistics Liaison with other Training Coordinators, Corporate HR and Training staff and unit resources Develops and implements effective training materials by utilizing a variety of media Ensures consistent and effective implementation of learning & development platforms across the organization Partners with subject matter experts to drive innovative training solutions which impact business metrics and organizational effectiveness Preferred Qualifications Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or high service related field required Must be a self-motivated individual who is comfortable speaking in large groups and with all levels of management Must have excellent stand–up delivery and facilitation skills that drive key learning outcomes and motivate application beyond the classroom Training experience preferred Ability to multi-task and establish priorities Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership Must be proficient in the use of MS Office including but not limited to Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance/ AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Flexible Time Off Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Paid Parental Leave Personal Leave Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
