Position Overview:
As a CNA at Tallavera, you will provide patient-centered care tailored to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of adult and geriatric populations. Your role is vital in promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, skin care, and mobility support as per individual care plans. Safety & Environment: Ensure a clean and safe environment. Respond promptly to call lights and alarms, implement fall prevention strategies, and report safety concerns or equipment issues. Nutrition Support: Assist with meal preparation and feeding. Respect resident preferences and dietary needs in accordance with care plans. Rehabilitation Support: Encourage and assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices. Communication & Reporting: Report changes in residents’ conditions, concerns, and refusals to the Charge Nurse. Ensure accurate and timely documentation as per protocol. Respect & Dignity: Uphold residents’ rights and provide care that honors their individuality and dignity. Qualifications: Certification: Valid New York State Nursing Assistant Certification Experience: Minimum 1 year of LTC (long-term care) experience; must be certified for at least one year Certification: Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI only) Education: High School Diploma or GED required Compensation & Schedule: Pay: $25/hour Start Dates: ASAP Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available Shifts: All shifts available; must be able to work every other weekend and holidays
