Position Overview
The Telemarketer will contact prospective customers by phone to identify insurance needs and schedule appointments for our licensed sales agents. You’ll use lead lists to manage call activity and follow-ups. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement into a licensed sales or service role.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective clients from provided contact lists (auto, home, and business insurance prospects).
Engage prospects in friendly, professional conversation to identify interest and confirm basic qualifying details.
Schedule appointments or quote requests for licensed producers.
Follow call scripts and compliance guidelines provided by the agency.
Achieve daily and weekly call and appointment goals.
Represent Riley & Colaizzo Insurance in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
Qualifications
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Confident, positive phone presence and comfortable making outbound calls.
Organized, dependable, and self-motivated to meet goals.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate CRM or spreadsheet tools.
Prior telemarketing, sales, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
