Palliative Care - Physician at Atrium Health summary:

The role is for a full-time Pediatric Palliative Care Physician providing multidisciplinary care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with responsibilities including clinical service, education, research, and quality improvement. The position is within Atrium Health Levine Children’s, a leading children’s hospital and teaching institution known for pediatric specialties and academic development. The physician will collaborate with a diverse team and contribute to clinical programs, faculty development, and hospital committees.

Advocate Health Levine Children’s is seeking a full-time MD/DO to join their well-established and growing team. The Pediatric Palliative Care Division is currently a group of 2 physicians, 1 APPs, 2 Social Workers, 1 Nurse Coordinator, and a Bereavement Coordinator. Multidisciplinary care is provided for pediatric and adult patients.

1. Outpatient palliative care, shared call, and inpatient consultation service.
2. Participation in division-specific quality improvement plan.

6. Education – medical students, pediatric residents, and faculty.

1. Current Board Certification in Pediatric Palliative Care.
